The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is constituted in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act to ensure a safe, respectful, and harassment-free environment for all students and employees. The Committee is committed to maintaining dignity, equality, and confidentiality in all matters related to complaints.

  • To provide a confidential and accessible complaint mechanism
  • To support victims with sensitivity and fairness
  • To ensure timely inquiry and redressal of complaints

Functions of the Committee

  • Receive and address complaints of sexual harassment
  • Conduct fair and impartial inquiries
  • Recommend corrective and disciplinary action when required
  • Provide emotional and procedural support to complainants
  • Promote awareness programs on gender sensitivity and safety
  • Maintain confidentiality throughout the complaint process

How to Submit a Complaint

  • Complaints may be submitted in person to any ICC member
  • Complaints should be written and signed
  • Assistance will be provided if the complainant needs help drafting the complaint
  • All complaints will be handled with strict confidentiality
  • No retaliation against complainants is permitted

Confidentiality & Protection

The identity of the complainant, respondent, and witnesses will be kept confidential. Any form of retaliation, intimidation, or victimization against a complainant or witness is strictly prohibited and will attract disciplinary action.
